The West 104th Street Community Garden maintains two sources of news: a Garden blog maintained by the Steering Committee, which includes event announcements, articles on gardening and links to Gardening websites; and a Community blog that is open to all members to post classified advertisements, personal announcements and musings. We are a diverse community with many viewpoints, and the Community blog reflects this fact. We only ask that members refrain from submitting profane or inflammatory postings. Due to the anticipated 3-6″ snowfall overnight, the Saturday Special Cleanout WORKDAY will instead be the Snow date, SUNDAY, FEB. 7, 11:00 AM. Dear Gardeners,
Construction in the West Garden is due to begin Monday, February 8. We will be meeting with construction and Parks Dept. representatives this Friday for a final review of plans and agreements. Many thanks to Lucille for pulling all of this together!

NYC CGC Gardens Conference Registration
Attendance at this all-day Conference by as many as possible, to have influence on the Reps., is of great importance. It seems the registration began on 4 Jan but I expect that even with the late, 3rd class, mailing there will still be room. // LM
